Your Favorite Legging But Better

Leggings have been a staple for me for years now. As a fitness lover and now as a busy mom, they are a staple in my wardrobe! They are versatile, comfortable, and allow me to work out and then chase after my toddler.

I remember the first time I bought a pair of Lululemon align leggings. I think I heard a choir of angels singing as I pulled them on. They were so flattering and that soft, buttery, naked-like fabric is out of this world comfortable. These leggings were the holy grail! So why look for something else? Well, there are a few reasons, let me explain.

1. THE COST

While I admit Lululemon aligns are the best leggings I’ve owned I do have some complaints. First and foremost is the price. Most Lululemon leggings retail from $98-$110. Now while I am not opposed to investing in quality wardrobe pieces, these are pants I’m using to lift weights in, sweat in, and then hang out with a toddler in. Most days I have various questionable foods and liquids from my little one on my clothes.

2. THE WEAR

My second complaint, which is really just inevitable with any legging, is that they wear out. Over time the fabric will pill, even with meticulous care. At least in my experience. It is recommended that the align pants be worn for yoga and lounging. Maybe for some that is realistic but not for me. Like I mentioned before my days consist of weight training and then doing mom things.

So while I love the Lululemon align leggings, I didn’t feel it was cost-effective or wise to keep paying upwards of $110 for one pair.

Many leggings have been labeled ”align dupes” and admittedly I’ve tried a lot! After countless disappointing experiences and returns, I began to accept there was nothing that would come close to aligns. But I was wrong!

Enter Colorfulkoala!

I’d heard of this company in my many searches for align dupes but I was reluctant because of my previous negative experiences. But I gave it a chance and decided to order a pair. I’d been eyeing the camo-style align pants for awhile and Colorfulkoala had a very similar style for a fraction of the cost! When my order arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of, well, EVERYTHING!

The packaging was super chic! The pants were neatly folded and inside a reusable self-sealing bag, which I love to re-purpose for travel!

The fabric was soft, not exactly like aligns, but very close. The fit was beyond my expectations! Super high wasted and hugged me perfectly. The Colorfulkoala leggings are a bit more compressive but still have that “naked” like feel to them. I was in love! I’ve since ordered another 3 pairs and I have not been disappointed!

My most recent purchases were a really cute leopard print legging, the army green splinter camo legging and the high waisted joggers. The joggers are so so soft and fit perfectly. And the leopard print is fun and stands out in a good way.

I can’t tell you how much I love these leggings! They are just as nice as Lululemon and dare I say BETTER! I love how affordable and durable they are. The prints they have are so fun and the comfort is everything I hoped it would be. Not to mention how flattering they are.

Aside from all of that the cost is the biggest win here.
You can get 3 pairs of Colorfulkoala leggings for the cost of one pair of Lululemon aligns. And as a mom on a budget, this is the biggest reason I am sold on these leggings.
